The first three learning resources listed below are invaluable. The tools further down are very high on my list (there are other analytics tools listed on the post about PPC & CPA). They are used virtually every day and are either FREE,  or if there is a small price to pay it’s worth the investment and “recommended“.

Remember - if there is a tool mentioned below that costs, but you don’t have much budget - don’t spend your money - you can get going with the free tools, but you will need to route yourself to success in a similar way to this post Marketing for Self Publishers (which you are when you publish a web page).

If you keep waiting until you get your head round everything before you get going, you’ll be overwhelmed and still be thinking about it in a year’s time! It really does makes it so, so easy! More comprehensive and detailed it has been constantly referred to often (and always within my reach!)- for Beginner & Intermediate.

I prefer the GetResponse Autoresponder as your way of not just creating that box on your website where visitors can opt-in to join your subscriber list. It also automates the way messsages are sent as a series (you only have to write each one once). You should consider offering something in return for their name and email, perhaps a free report, ebook or download, and then build a relationship with them.

Google Adwords Made Easy by Brad Callen. Instantly read or Download this FREE 84 page PDF comprehensive guide on how to make Google Adwords work for you with some simple foolproof strategies for the beginner.  Anyone starting an internet business should learn how to do Keyword Research, PPC (Pay Per Click Advertising), and Google Adwords is a good place to start. PPC Webspy - a really cool new FREE keyword research tool from Brad Callen. You’ve got to check it out to really understand the full  benefits of this, and if you are, or are considering being, an affiliate marketer it is especially cool. And in case you are wondering whether it is ethical, it is giving you information you can get by manually doing hours of research but instead it is virtually instant! Recommended

SpeedPPC is an awesome clever PPC tool that does all sorts of things to optimize the use of such as keyword “seeds”, to writing individual ads for every keyword, to placing the “seed keywords” on your landing page so it is highly relevent - this means higher quality scores, cheaper cost per click, and vastly improved results! but it doesn’t come cheap.  I use it and wouldn’t do without it. But if you want instant traffic you can get it via Pay Per Click campaigns until your website search engine optimization and linking etc lifts your site over time (see post Fast Market Testing-With PPC & CPA and post Writing a Killer PPC Ad ). Kompozer - NVU’s free wysiwyg HTML editor (you can create your OWN squeeze and web pages with this quite easily - Chris Farrell also explains how with easy to follow instructions, in his free book - see link above)

Camstudio - (for windows) free Screen Recording Software (you don’t need to spend $340 or so for Camstasia!) but Camstudio Pro is approx $29 and  Ideal for the Internet Marketer - it has many more useful features, compresses the videos for the web and you can add keywords etc

ishowu - (for Mac) great video screen capture recording program (inc HD) - $29.95

Pamela Call Recorder - for SKYPE - Great quality call recording tool. Buy PAMELA PRO version - approx $20 for unlimited recording and many great features.
Record that Interview with an Expert and upload to your website or blog! Saves in mp3, podcasting is called “pamcasting” There is a trial FREE version records up to 15mins (you must make the other party aware if you are going to record a conversation so they can terminate the call),

On-line Stopwatch (set it to 45mins and do ONE project - say write an article, without interruption)

PDF Locker only $9.97 and you can protect  your “ebook” PDF by securing it with passcode and encryption.

Viral PDF costs a bit more but it really can exponentially spread your report by allowing links to be re-brandable

Technical Outsourcing:

Rentacoder & Scriptlance are the two I have used, and got great results. If only I had known about these resources before. Get your site designed, or online, or even create a script for a new program for you, by outsourcing. This is the way to go. You can get bids returned within hours, for a fraction of the cost, and each will have past reviews of their work from clients. Check their ability to communicate, and use the Escrow system pf payment. The money is only released when the job is completed to your satisfaction.
